The Irvine Company Office Properties, a Southern California commercial real estate company, tapped Red Dot Digital Media to create a digital experience to promote one of its largest commercial office campuses.
The campus, Alton HQ, now features an interactive experience that greets visitors and highlights property amenities, architectural renderings and neighborhood features, according to a press release.
Red Dot Digital Media, a specialty integrator in the digital signage space, created a custom-built, interactive video wall powered by a touch-interactive controller that enables full control of the content experience.
The solution features components for each link in the AV chain, including BrightSign XC4055 media players, Samsung VM55B-U Video Wall Displays, Peerless AV Modular Video Wall Pedestal in 4X3 configuration, Yamaha Pro 70V/8-ohm, 6.5-inch Surface Mount Speakers, Yamaha Pro Power Amplifier, Apple iPad 11" A16 and an iPort CONNECT PRO Case and Base. The system architecture also supports scalability, allowing for additional content types or layout changes in the future.
Visitors are greeted with a branded welcome screen tailored to the company touring the property. From there, ICOP leasing agents can guide visitors through a vast library of still, video and augmented reality content that highlights key aspects of the property, including property overviews, image galleries, amenity sliders, interactive maps and more.
The interface was designed to be intuitive and flexible, allowing ICOP to update content on the fly, including new images, localized amenities or alternate build-out options, no technical expertise required.
The interface had to accommodate multiple content formats (videos, image galleries, interactive maps and animated sliders) while maintaining a unified visual experience.
Red Dot developed a custom digital signage solution that blends high-end visual presentation with intuitive interactivity. At the core of the experience is a large-format video wall, paired with a tablet-style controller interface designed for real-time content navigation.
The custom-built software interface allows users to:
Real-time mirroring between the controller and the video wall was achieved through tightly integrated media player synchronization that handles content updates instantly.
