Digital signage firm BrightSign LLC today announced that BrightSign Network now offers Web-based interface capabilities, further simplifying the process of remote content management on its sytems.
BrightSign Network Web UI is the latest addition to BrightSign Network, the company's scalable subscription-based hosted service. BrightSign Network provides the complete infrastructure to serve and support an entire digital signage network, the company said, and now the ability to remotely manage content via a Web UI offers users even greater flexibility to manage a network from virtually anywhere.
"Our users rely heavily on BrightSign Network, as it allows them to offload much of their digital signage network management," said BrightSign CEO Jeff Hastings in the announcement. "The Web UI takes that convenience to new heights, making remote content delivery to one or multiple units a breeze."
BrightSign Network enables users to perform a variety of tasks, such as distributing presentations, managing networked players, monitoring the activity and status of displays, performing network administration functions, and assigning user roles and permissions from a remote location.
The BrightSign Network Web UI gives users access to their BrightSign Network subscription from any Internet-connected Mac or PC, from anywhere in the world. Through the Web UI, network administrators can create user accounts, assign roles and set account permissions.
Account users can remotely access features based on their assigned roles to perform network monitoring and management, generate playback, event and diagnostic reports, and even author, schedule and publish simple presentations.
