Atmosphere earns $14M in funding round

Atmosphere, a TV streaming service and owner of CHIVE TV, has earned $14 million in a round of funding. This company offers streaming channels for businesses along with digital signage, so companies can place advertisements below TV content, according to a press release.

"Atmosphere blends the best of traditional TV and digital advertising. No other advertising medium can deliver an engaged audience, mass reach, precise targetability and industry-leading ROIs on big screen TVs," John Resig, co-founder and president, Atmosphere, said in the release. "It's the most efficient way for brands to reach millions of consumers in their daily lives."
