Covington, Kentucky-headquartered global specialty chemical and technology manufacturer Ashland has chosen to use Noventri manufacturing metrics technology and digital signage to provide corporate communications at their facility, according to an announcement from digital signage solutions company Noventri.

Ashland serves more than 100 companies globally and is using Noventri digital metric displays to provide corporate communications and to display manufacturing metrics to company personnel. Ashland serves customers worldwide providing specialty chemicals, technologies and insights to help customers create new and improved products.

Ashland deployed Noventri digital data displays that allow monitoring of real-time, dynamic metrics in manufacturing and production line areas. Noventri said manufacturing facilities such as Ashland use its Manufacturing Metric Displays to allow shift supervisors and plant or production managers access to a means of communicating pertinent plant and facility information automatically with no change in the data collection methods. Noventri digital signage screens can be linked to existing spreadsheets or ODBC-compliant databases such as Excel, Oracle, SQL and MySQL, and data is displayed automatically and dynamically on screens in front of personnel on the manufacturing floor or production line.

Screens in lobbies or in break rooms also provide up-to-date corporate communications such as company news, identifying brands supported at that particular facility or sharing the company's community initiatives, keeping employees informed.
