Australian out-of-home operator APN Outdoor is continuing its digital push with the recent announcement of a new digital billboard in Adelaide. The new site is the latest from APN Outdoor's Elite Screens collection and according to the company will be the second digital screen in Adelaide — the first being Gouger Street, which was launched by APN Outdoor in 2013.
APN Outdoor's new digital screen is located on the Anzac Highway in Ashford, 2.5 kilometers from Adelaide's city center. The Anzac Highway location was strategically chosen by APN Outdoor because it is one of Adelaide's main CBD feeder roads. Carrying approximately 38,000 people per day, the new Anzac Highway site offers APN Outdoor advertisers campaign exposure and digital impact. It is a Landmark format, measuring 9.6 x 2.8 meters.
Inaugural advertisers on the site include well-known brands such as Live Nation, Coopers, RAA, UniSA and Tattslotto, all of which are on a 15-second rotation, the company said.
"Off the back of our success with Gouger Street, we are very proud to be continuing our national digital expansion and launching Adelaide's second digital screen," APN Outdoor CEO Richard Herring said in the announcement. "With a range of capabilities that include everything from immediacy of posting, creative flexibly, minimal lead times and multiple integration opportunities we have no doubt that our new Anzac Highway site will prove just as popular with advertisers as Gouger Street."
APN Outdoor said it is the only media company currently offering large-format, high-definition LED roadside digital screens across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland. The new Anzac Highway site will take APN Outdoor's total digital portfolio to 26 screens in Australia.
