API Explorer enables content management without writing code

IntuiLab has upgraded its interactive software IntuiFace with API Explorer, a software tool allowing end users to access and control content from web APIs without writing code, according to a press release.

API Explorer is designed to take a URL from a user and generate a display of the XML or JSON response from the web API. It also selects key elements from the response that can be used in a multi-touchscreen such as images, videos, websites and text. It uses a machine learning engine to learn user’s preferences.

After selecting the API, IntuiFace crafts an interface to connect the API to the interactive experience. Users can rearrange the layout as needed to fit their displays.

"At IntuiLab, we are on a mission to democratize the creation of interactive and connected digital experiences, bringing this ability to non-developers of all stripes with our platform, IntuiFace," Vincent Encontre, CEO, IntuiLab, said in the release. "Our latest passion, 15 months in the making, has been to use machine learning to assist this very large non-developer community cross the Great API Wall, the last major barrier standing between this community and full creativity. API Explorer is our answer."
