AOpen to showcase digital signage at Paris retail show

EquipMag, the French tradeshow showcasing the latest retail trends, the in-store digital media experience and POS solutions, opens its doors in Paris today, and AOpen digital signage will be there, according to a company announcement.

Digital signage will be a major topic on the agenda at this year's Equipmag, held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Pavillon 7.3, in Paris, so AOpen will be represented by its value added distributor ES France.

ES France will display the AOpen Digital Engine series which is the company's flagship product and which AOpen said is "recognized as the world's smallest high-performance semi-industrial media player." The compact size is a set standard and makes it easy to install, without increasing the space between the wall and the display, or to integrate in a kiosk or other specifically designed presentation system, the company said.

Together with SolutiOn AOpen, will exhibit the In-Store Multitouch Presenter during the show. This is a complete digital signage hardware solution including a 22-inch touchscreen and built-in PC technology, intended for easy integration and installation.

AOpen will also demonstrate the DS² concept. DS² shows the advantages of combining digital signage and digital surveillance (thus, DS²) and how a combined solution can lower total cost of ownership and can increase return on investment.
