NEC's director of product marketing talks to DST about new ultra-narrow bezel and LED-backlit displays.
November 21, 2011 by Christopher Hall
NEC Display Solutions Director of Product Marketing Keith Yanke spoke with DST Editor Christopher Hall about NEC's newest additions to its digital signage display lineup at the November Customer Engagement Technology World show in New York City.
NEC responded to feedback from its clients to add full-HD resolution and LED backlighting to new ultra-narrow bezel displays, making them more environmentally friendly and lowering the total cost of ownership by lowering power consumption, Yanke said.
NEC also continues to incorporate Intel's OPS, or open pluggable specification, to help make its displays ultra-thin and cross-compatible with its projectors, Yanke said.
