FITE, a sports streaming platform, has partnered with Wally, a media marketing firm, to project preliminary boxing bouts from the title match between Jose Zepeda and Regis Prograis onto buildings in three Los Angeles locations, according to a press release.
The first fighting promotion of its kind, the projection aims to garner interest in PPV sales (via featured QR code) for the main fight and is slated to loop the 90-minute content from 4:30 to midnight PST.
"FITE has always innovated, right from its inception with its use of AI," Kim Hurwitz, CMO at FITE, said in the release. "Now we're bringing the fights to the streets, as big as buildings, citywide — something that's never been done before. It's an incredible way to show people the excitement we deliver every day, and to encourage them to tune to the live Zepeda versus Prograis Pay Per View on FITE. They can scan the QR code on the broadcast to instantly order the event on the FITE mobile app, and even take it home with them to stream it on their favorite smart TV device."
