The traditional approach to digital signage may soon take a big turn given the advent of virtual AR-powered signage. The leader driving the change is Skidattl, a start up led by Randy Marsden who serves as CEO. Marsden is known for numerous successful ventures including the onscreen keyboard Swype , which was acquired by Microsoft, and Dryft, which was acquired by Apple.

Skidattl is a B2B SaaS platform enables businesses to place virtual signs in the real world using AR. It had its soft launch at the FASTSIGNS International Convention 2025 and the enthusiastic feedback on virtual signage was clear.
