Vubiquity, a provider of content and media solutions, plans to unveil extensions to its Media and Studio Services Infrastructure for Video solution. These extensions will offer support for formats, quick-turn requests and content delivery on a "same-day global basis," according to a press release.

Specifically, the company will now support 4K HDR automation, IoT-enabled devices, VR applications, premium VOD/Early Window security, and Dolby ATMOS. The product already supports 4K SDR automated processing and licensee delivery, and 4K SDR IMF-compliant mastering and archive processing, according to the release.

"[T]he increase of OTT outlets for both creation of original content and distribution sales at the major studios, networks and independent providers has driven increasing demand for optimized pricing, highly automated 4K workflows," Ira Dworkin, executive vice president of technology and product at Vubiquity, said in the release. "Our products and services enable the quick-turn delivery of well over 100,000 unique content packages each month, compiled to the exacting needs of content owners and distributors, and positioned to increase consumer engagement and monetization."
