Groupe MMO Inc. and VIVA Group have announced the conclusion of a binding agreement for a digital display project through Mister Muffler's repair shops across Quebec.
Strategically positioned in Mister Muffler's branches waiting rooms, the MM TV network screens will mainly be used to make the waiting times more enjoyable for customers visiting the shops, while their vehicle goes in for maintenance. Using the latest Internet broadcasting technology, the network programming will offer an informative portion connected to daily headlines, automotive prevention tips and a promotional portion that will benefit Mister Muffler and some of its suppliers. Castrol, Monroe and Michelin are already planning to capitalize on the visibility the network will offer them.

At Mister Muffler, the arrival of such a communication platform will help modernize the environment of machine shops. "The relationship we have with our customers is a priority to us. A visit to the machine shop should be enriching and entertaining. MM TV provides us the opportunity to share our offers and advices on vehicle maintenance, and entertain our waiting customers," said Daniel Malandruccolo, vice president at Groupe MMO Inc.
VIVA Group, a firm specializing in digital point of sale marketing, was awarded the entire project's mandate, from deployment to development of the programming and content, to the management of a daily network.
"Mister Muffler's brand is a veritable institution in itself for Quebec's auto sector, and to be able to participate in the implementation of such a project in Mister Muffler's shops rewards us with tremendous pride and strengthens our leadership position in the point of sale marketing field," said Martin Lessard, president and COO at VIVA Group.
MM TV is currently deployed in about 50 shops of the chain.
