Visual Art upgrades Stockholm retailer with digital signage

Nordiska Kompaniet, a luxury retailer in Stockholm, Sweden, has partnered with Visual Art to deploy more than 70 digital signage displays throughout its store, according to a press release.

The displays, which are at store entrances, aisles, elevators and escalators, offer advertisements and wayfinding for visitors. Visual Art used handmade material for the displays' casing to keep with the retailer's sober brand image.

The company also framed the displays with brass and placed a band of tanned leather from Tärnsjö, Sweden on the top of the display to create the illusion of it hanging from the wall, according to the release.
