Visix unveils new version of signage suite

Visix Inc. has launched version 1.30 of its Axis TV Signage Suite and version 3.11 of its Connect Room Sign software. The suite features fill-in messages and data mapping while the updated room sign software now supports JSON and XML calendar types, according to a press release.

AxisTV in particular comes with an Adjust Message and Adjust Layout workflows to allow users to edit text and media files with fill-in messages and layouts. The software can also now can display the latest updates and snapshots and reboot or shutdown players remotely with its Administer Players feature. Other features include:

• Enhanced SAML authentication configuration.
• Comes with desktop content design app AxisTV Design which supports the Delphi calendar data widget.
• Data-mapped Text Choice widget allows uses to specify what text they want to display.
• The Connect Room Sign software also now comes with an energy saver mode and remote backup and restore features.

"We're constantly evaluating and improving our offering," Sean Matthews, president and CEO of Visix, said in the release. "If you stand still in this industry, you're going backwards. The digital world is dynamic, and we have to change and shift right along with it. As we get feedback from users, we integrate suggested additions and changes in as short a time frame as we can."
