Virgin Media O2 brings Portl's holoportation to U.K.

The first Portl project to arrive in the U.K. for holoportation activations has been acquired by Virgin Media O2, according to a company press release.
The media and telecom company will use its ability to beam people for real time interactive visits in various ways throughout 2022.
Portl is active in entertainment, education, retail, enterprise business, marketing, fashion and the art world. Portl holoportation is being used in brand activations by companies such as HBO, Netflix, DHL, Diageo, Chase Bank and IWC Schaffhausen.
In addition, athletes and artists such as F1 racing's Lewis Hamilton, Migos, Danny Green, DeadMau5, and Kane Brown have used the company in their projects.
Portl recently completed multiple activations across Art Basel Miami showing NFTs and other digital objects. Founded in 2019, Portl is based in Los Angeles.
