Velocity partners with Screenvision Media for in-lobby digital media network

Velocity, a digital media display and telecommunications services provider, has partnered with Screenvision Media, a cinema and video advertising company, to offer an in-lobby digital media network. With this partnership, Velocity will be able to expand its DOOH network into theaters, according to a press release.

Velocity will install digital posters and standees in Screenvision's network of theaters. The initial rollout will consist of 2,000-to-4,000 displays at 500-to-1,000 theaters.

"We are looking forward to expanding our lobby footprint within our overall cinema advertising network and growing our partnership with Velocity," John Partilla, CEO of Screenvision, said in the release. "The lobbies play an impactful role for our clients seeking to connect to moviegoers as brands can reinforce and amplify the on-screen message before and after the movie. Also, the incremental screens provide us additional impressions to satisfy the demand for on-screen advertising."
