Velocity hires on CFO

Velocity, a managed services company, has selected Betty Ong to serve as chief financial officer. She will succeed Ron Ranallo, who recently announced his intention to retire, according to a press release.

As CFO, Ong will lead the finance, accounting and sourcing teams for Velocity. Prior to joining Velocity, Ong served as VP of finance and operations at Unacast, according to the release.

"I am very pleased that Betty has agreed to join our leadership team as CFO. She has proven to be a well-rounded finance professional with strong investor and finance consulting and strategy experience. I am confident she will leverage her past success and be a strong partner as we execute our transformational growth plans," Greg Kiley, founder and CEO, of Velocity, said in the release.
