April 22, 2016

Nashville-based Uniguest, a provider of guest-facing technologies for the hospitality industry, has acquired the hospitality assets of Showcase Technology, according to a company press release. This is the third recent acquisition made to advance Uniguest's strategy of expanding its footprint within the hospitality industry and diversifying into new industry verticals, according to the announcement.

Torrance, California-based Showcase Technology provides secure, centrally managed free-to-guest and pay-per-use computer systems, printers, copiers and fax machines to the hospitality marketplace and business services segment.

"Uniguest's growth strategy is to expand our customer base and the portfolio of services provided within the hospitality industry. By leveraging our guest-facing technology platforms and expertise, we are now able to expand into complementary industries," said Joseph P. Morgan Jr., CEO of Uniguest. "The acquisition of Showcase, combined with the acquisitions announced earlier this month of Ascension Software, Inc., and the hospitality business center division of Eleven, Inc., drives meaningful value for our customers, as well as for our employees and partners. We are excited about accelerating our expansion into business services, urban living, financial services, retail and healthcare with innovative technology solutions for those consumer-facing industries."
