Turkish airport to deploy more than 3,000 flight information displays

Vestel, an AV company, will provide flight information displays for a Turkish airport that is being built to replace the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. The airport will deploy 3,150 displays, according to a release.

These displays will come in 49- and 55-inch models and will offer brightness levels of 700 Nits. Other features of the displays include:

• 100,000-hour life-span.
• HD resolution.
• OPS compatible
• And offer flight information for 350 destinations.

The airport is expected to open as soon as October 2018, according to the release.
