The Marlin Company, a workplace digital signage provider, has earned U.S. Patent No.10,162,893 B2 for its content library. With this patent, Marlin can offer users access to a database of video content to be displayed on digital signage, according to a press release.
Customers can search the database based on keywords related to workplace issues such as compliance, performance, culture and morale, according to the release.
"Our customers like that they can easily post updates and announcements, but they often struggle with making their messages visual," Frank Kenna III, president and CEO of The Marlin Company, said in the release. "The content library enables them to easily access attention-grabbing videos that support their objectives and in-house initiatives. Whether it’s safety, health and wellness, compliance or morale, they can find many choices. The combination of their company messages, Marlin’s subscription content and selections from the content library ensure that employees will be looking at the screens."
