Taxi digital signage rolls into Seattle
January 24, 2008
SeattlePost-Intelligencer: Advertising company Seattle Digital Signage installed digital screens in the headrests of 10 Orange Cabs last week, only a fraction of the 312 taxis in Washington's King County. The monitors were installed to test Seattle's appetite for more advertising. The taxis will begin handing out comment cards over the next couple of weeks and unless there's an outcry against them, Seattle Digital Signage plans to install the monitors in more Orange Cabs, said the company's president, Mike Draghici. Eventually, he wants to put the monitors in Yellow and Redtop cabs around Seattle.
