T1Visions inks Ingram Micro as US distributor

Ingram Micro to distribute T1Visions' inTouch interactive tables, walls and multitouch, multiuser software throughout the U.S.

T1Visions, a provider of interactive touchscreen experiences, recently announced it has signed an agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. to distribute T1Visions inTouch Interactive Tables, inTouch Interactive Walls and T1Visions multitouch, multiuser software in the U.S. market.

This move comes as T1Visions looks to expand its distribution network across the U.S. Ingram Micro provides a network of ProAV integrators and suppliers, along with relationships with thousands of resellers throughout the U.S. Ingram Micro also is well-established in the retail sector, which is the fastest-growing market for T1Visions in 2014, according to the announcement.

"ProAV and digital signage remain a hot opportunity for channel partners in the U.S. and represent a high-performance solutions category for Ingram Micro," said Kevin Prewett, senior director, pro AV and digital signage, Ingram Micro, in the announcement. "T1Visions' focus on retail marries well with Ingram Micro's new vertical market strategies and adds more depth to our growing and targeted pro AV and digital signage solutions portfolio."

In addition to its retail solutions, Ingram Micro will represent T1Visions' ThinkHub application – the BYOD (bring your own device) collaboration software introduced at InfoComm 2014 in June. ThinkHub features a Canvas that expands to over 20 times the surface area of the physical touchscreen, and allows an unlimited number of devices to share their screen to the ThinkHub Canvas simultaneously, where users can annotate, snapshot or scroll through images, videos, documents and presentations.
