Sweden-based DISE announced it has developed digital signage software for LG webOS signage.
According to the announcement, LG Digital Signage is aimed at offering comprehensive technology solutions with the latest digital products to offer intuitive user experiences, simple customization, easy connection and convenient management.
With LG webOS, end-users eliminate the need for external media players, simplifying installation and maintenance, DISE said. The plug-and-play solution only requires a network and a code and then end-users are ready to display their content, the company said.
"DISE has a very interesting product and is a strong player on the digital signage market, and we are therefore very happy to see that they have chosen to develop their software also for [the] LGs webOS platform," said Fredrik Lundqvist LG Electronics Nordic's B2B marketing manager, in the announcement.
End-users have the choice to either run the system as rental subscription (SaaS) or as a self-owned installation on a server, needing only an Internet connection, DISE Composer and DISE Cloud, the company said.
LG webOS is included in the new DISE product package called "DISE Xpress," aimed at customers looking for an affordable solution and wanting to display basic content such as images, text and videos, the company said. This package is supported with DISE Composer for those wanting more flexibility to add their own unique templates, content, tickers and other file formats.
