Sun Tan City uses RoninCast digital signage for store services, promos

MINNEAPOLIS — Wireless Ronin Technologies Inc., a Minneapolis-based worldwide digital signage provider, announced that Kentucky-based Sun Tan City has completed the implementation of RoninCast digital signage in seven locations as part of a rebranding effort in their network of 70 salon stores and in new store builds. "Sun Tan City has been able to enhance the look of their stores by implementing RoninCast digital signage as part of the front-end customer experience," said Scott Koller, executive vice president of sales and project management for Wireless Ronin. "The system allows them to communicate standard service and product offerings as well as to promote sales and featured products, which is a great tool for the sales representative for up-selling to customers." The Sun Tan City network locations each include a vertical 40-inch LCD screen zoned into designated areas to advertise its menu board of tanning options as well as a large area of promotional content. Using Wireless Ronin's creative team to develop content and the Network Operations Center (NOC) for scheduling and monitoring, Sun Tan City has been able to keep its messages fresh and relevant. "The RoninCast digital signage system has become an integral element of our in-store renovations in corporate and key franchise locations," said Angela Rieger, marketing director for Sun Tan City. "We plan to include digital signage in our ongoing store updates as well as with new store builds. The cutting-edge technology reflects our brand as a leader in tanning products and services" Sun Tan City offers tanning services with across Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and Maine. With the RoninCast system Sun Tan City has been able to standardize the look of stores while easily managing the introduction of new products, sales and promotions to its locations.Related Media
