SpinetiX has launched an upgrade to its cloud-based digital signage solution ARYA, a digital signage OS called DSOS and its HMP400 media player. The company also worked with Intel to create the DSOS, according to a press release.
SpinetiX is offering a premium plan and enterprise plan for ARYA, which are designed for end-users and resellers respectively. With the DSOS solution, SpinetiX optimized it for digital signage to ensure smooth running, according to the release.
"DSOS by SpinetiX will generate new opportunities in IoT applications, including kiosks, retail, smart building and smart cities. An OS dedicated to signage; is the first step to standardizing the digital signage infrastructure in future deployments," Francesco ZIliani, CEO of SpinetiX, said in the release. "Together with Intel, we believe this is the way forward for sustaining the growth of digital signage and this is why we work together to make it happen."
The HMP400 media player is a fanless device that can deliver 4K content at 60 frames-per-second. It also supports power-over-Ethernet, Wi-Fi and HTML5, according to the release.
