Signagelive to provide free calendar widgets with Google, Microsoft integration.

Signagelive has launched calendar widgets for its Signagelive Marketplace. The widgets enables users to connect to Google and Microsoft Office 365 Calendars, according to a press release.

Users can connect their Office 365 and Google GSuite accounts to the calendar integration app and designate a person or room calendar to a calendar widget template. From there, the users can publish the widget to a particular display or player.

The widgets are also designed with a variety of intelligent technologies. For example, a calendar widget for a room availability display will change color from green to red based on availability.

"Displaying calendar information on displays is now a mandatory requirement for corporate, government and education digital signage applications, especially where room calendars need to be visible in reception areas and outside meeting rooms." Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive, said in the release. "Our free calendar widgets bridge the gap between displaying a Google or Microsoft web calendar on a display and the premium paid-for room booking solutions. In addition, our HTML5-based calendar widgets are easily customizable, allowing our value added resellers and customers to modify the visual design and layout of the widgets to match their branding and content requirements."
