Sharp intros 4K interactive whiteboards

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corp. has introduced three 4K interactive whiteboards to its AQUOS BOARD line of displays. The three products include the 70, 75 and 86-inch PN-C861H interactive displays, according to a press release.

Customers can use an app with a portable Windows or Android device to deliver images wirelessly to the monitor. Other features include:

• Overlay function to annotate photos and videos.
• A built-in whiteboard launcher for note taking and drawing.
• Front-facing inputs.

"We are pleased to offer this innovative, visually stunning and easy-to-use line of interactive whiteboards for the classroom," Gary Bailer, director of product management for pro A/V products at Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, said in the release. "This line includes many of the advanced features typically found in our premium interactive displays, such as 4K Ultra HD resolution and wireless connectivity, but at a more affordable cost."
