ScreenCloud has debutged advanced Remote Device Management capabilities for the Amazon Signage Stick.

Leveraging Amazon's new Remote Management API, ScreenCloud is among the first CMS providers to offer hardware-level control for the world's most accessible professional signage player, according to a press release.

With the integration, ScreenCloud users can perform critical maintenance and monitoring tasks directly from the ScreenCloud Studio dashboard, including:

  • Power and reboot control: Remotely power screens on/off and trigger device reboots.
  • Visual verification: Capture real-time screenshots to verify content playback.
  • System optimization: Perform Deep Clears of system cache and restart the player app to ensure peak performance.
  • Health telemetry: Monitor CPU and GPU temperatures and verify HDMI connection status to troubleshoot hardware issues before they impact the customer experience.

"ScreenCloud's relationship with Amazon goes right back to the beginning, when we built much of our software around its functionality with the Fire TV Stick," Mark McDermott, CEO of ScreenCloud,, said in the release. "We were proud to be one of the first vendors featured on the Amazon Signage Stick, and now we're one of the first to offer Remote Device Management on this market-leading player. The combination of cost, efficiency, and functionality makes it a no-brainer for IT managers rolling out digital signage."
