San Jose Sharks to push Verge Energy Drink ads to digital signage
The San Jose Sharks, an NHL team based in San Jose, California, recently selected Verve Energy Drink, owned by the Verve Beverage Company, as its official drink. The team will push digital signage messages through its SAP Center for the energy drink, according to a press release.
The SAP Center will rename its concourse bar to the "Verve Ice Bar" for brand integration. Verve will also sponsor the South Rink at Solar4America ice, the official practice ring of the San Jose Sharks.
"Our goal has always been to drive sales through marketing initiatives that are deep rooted in local communities, which will ultimately enhance the long-term growth of our brand. We choose to align our brand with partners who are concerned about healthy lifestyles of local people. Sharks team members, fans and management care about its youth as well as the parents that support them," Christian Jewkes, vice president of marketing for Verve Beverage Company, said in the release.
