Samsung tech played starring role on Jimmy Fallon show

The NBC show, "On Brand with Jimmy Fallon," tapped Samsung as its technology partner for its debut season.

Samsung's displays, monitors, smart TV and Galaxy mobile devices helped contestants bring marketing ideas to reality, according to a press release.

Hosted and executive produced by Fallon, the show features Fallon as the CEO of the "On Brand" agency. The series gave 10 creatives the opportunity to develop marketing campaigns for storied brands, all while using Samsung technology.

"On Brand with Jimmy Fallon celebrates the creative process, from brainstorming and collaboration to the moment when a great idea comes to life," Michael McDermott, executive vice president of consumer electronics, Samsung Electronics America, said in the release. "At Samsung, we see technology as a catalyst for driving creativity and empowering people to turn bold thinking into real outcomes."

The centerpiece of On Brand was a 146-inch model of Samsung's The Wall, a Direct-View LED display. The Wall served as the platform for contestants to present their campaign concepts. The season's finale moment was unveiled on the Samsung Times Square billboard in New York City.
