U.K.-based full-service digital signage provider Eclipse Digital Media has announced its cloud-based digital signage software, embedsignage.com, now fully supports Samsung's Smart Signage Platform and the SoC D Series displays. And as part of the announcement the companies included the news that, together, Eclipse Digital Media and Samsung have launched a digital signage demo area at Samsung's European headquarters in Chertsey, U.K. to showcase the SSP platform and embedsignage.com.
In the demo area is the yet-to-be-released 10.1-inch SoC display highlighting the use of shelf-edge digital signage for retail. Also included is a 55-inch DM display and two 32-inch DM displays, showcasing a variety of changeable content in both landscape and portrait orientations.
The content on all displays can be quickly changed to show various designs by using a Samsung Tablet, which is loaded with an interactive touch layout from embedsignage.com. All of the content and interactions between the tablet and the SSP displays are handled through embedsignage.com with the primary purpose to showcase how various industry sectors and software partners can make use of Samsung SSP and embedsignage.com.
The support for Samsung SSP SOC D Series Displays through embedsignage.com means users of Eclipse Digital's cloud digital signage software now benefit from being able to deliver their multizone digital signage content, in both portrait and landscape orientations, directly to a range of Samsung commercial grade displays, Eclipse said. This new addition of device support provides embedsignage.com users with an even wider selection of devices to deploy their digital signage project through including Android, iOS, Mac OS, Windows, ONELAN and the Samsung SSP SoC D series displays.
