Samsung Electronics America has launched Spatial Signage, a glasses-free 3D commercial display designed to transform how organizations create captivating visual experiences.
"Physical spaces are becoming strategic platforms for engagement, storytelling and brand connection," David Phelps, head of display solutions, Samsung Electronics America, said in a press release. "As consumer expectations rise, organizations need to do more than showcase content — they need to create presence and impact. Spatial Signage reflects the next evolution of commercial displays, helping businesses differentiate and create meaningful connections that drive results."
Spatial Signage takes a different approach to traditional digital displays by using Samsung's patented 3D Plate technology. It is powered by a custom optical layer that bends light and generates depth perception directly within the image panel. The result is multidimensional depth delivered in a slim two-inch panel for seamless placement in design-conscious environments, from big-box chains and luxury stores to museums and even stadiums.
Powered by Samsung's advanced Quantum Processor, the display maintains sharp detail and accurate contrast across a wide range of content. Integrated 4K upscaling, HDR refinement and 16-bit color mapping enhance clarity and depth, ensuring visuals are crisp and lifelike. An anti-glare panel helps preserve brightness and definition under varying indoor lighting conditions.
With Samsung Visual eXperience Transformation built-in capabilities, organizations can create and deploy immersive content at scale. AI Studio, Samsung's new AI-powered content app within VXT,3 transforms static images into signage-ready video without the need for external tools or manual setup. Content created through AI Studio is automatically optimized for Spatial Signage.
