Rockbot launches multi-channel streaming TV platform

Rockbot has launched its multi-channel streaming TV platform called Rockbot TV for OOH. The company has signed contracts with a variety of companies to stream their content such as Bloomberg TV, World Poker Tour, ACC Digital Network, FailArmy, The Pet Collective and more, according to a press release.

With the platform, businesses can automatically schedule content for any number of locations. They can also add marketing and branding elements, according to the release.

"Millions of consumers watch TV out of home each year. Nielsen estimates that 11% of sports viewership alone takes place out of the home (OOH). Rockbot TV is the first OTT platform targeting this $4B industry," Garrett Dodge, CEO of Rockbot, said in the release. "Until now, businesses had no alternative than to use cable and satellite TV platforms designed for residential consumer use. Rockbot TV has the technology and toolset designed for the needs of businesses and the content designed specifically to engage their customers."
