Rise Vision, a digital signage software company, has released two media players, an Android system that supports Android 8.1 and 9.0 media players and smart TVs, and a web player for use on a modern web browser, according to a company press release.
The web player can show Rise Vision templates on devices like Zoom Rooms, wireless presentation systems, thin clients, and other digital signage. With these players, customers can share Rise Vision on existing collaboration displays in classrooms, meeting and huddle rooms.
"Our customers are thrilled with this release. With our Android player, we've been able to significantly reduce the price of our recommended device from $300 to less than $100 while retaining great performance," Shea Darlison, Head of Revenue, Rise Vision, said in the release. "And with our web player, customers can now expand their digital signage to many of their existing devices. We're very focused on driving down the costs and complexity of digital signage, and this is a great step in that direction."
Rise Vision, founded in 1992, has corporate offices in Wichita, Kansas and Toronto, Canada.
