RESEARCH: Digital signage to boost out-of-home ad market to $1 billion

eMarketer: Market research firm eMarketer says it expects a large growth in outdoor advertising, driven heavily by digital signage. eMarketer projects that US outdoor advertising revenues will rise from $6.8 billion in 2006 to $10.2 billion in 2011. The predictions come as part of a new report entitled "Outdoor Advertising: A New Look."
