Report: Ethernet controller market to hit $11.89B by 2023

A MarketsandMarkets report predicts the Ethernet controller market will grow from $8.24 billion in 2017 to $11.89 billion by 2023, representing a compound annual growth rate of 6.22 percent.

The demand for high performance applications such as digital signage, more advanced features and easy interface with 16 and 32 bit CPUS are driving growth for Ethernet controllers, according to a press release.

During the forecasted period, servers are expected to hold the largest market share, due to the increasing usage of cloud services, artificial intelligence, analytics and IoT with servers.
