Render Impact deploys video wall at ER

The Covenant Medical Center in Lubbox, Texas, recently partnered with Render Impact and Lubbock Audio Visual Inc. to deploy two video walls for its adult emergency department waiting room. Render Impact provided the content for the displays, according to a press release.

Lubbock Audio Visual deployed the displays, which featured a 15-screen, five-by-three wall and a four-screen, four-by-one wall, according to the release. The displays offer historical footage, health trivia, video art, video stories and other content to provide a calming experience for visitors to the emergency room.

"One question we asked ourselves again and again during the production was: Can your eyes get lost in this scene?" Dan Maher, production manager at Render Impact, said in the release. 'We wanted to make calming videos that pull viewers in a little deeper. Something that expands that needed distraction at a tense time."
