Raydiant, a digital signage platform provider, has partnered with retail analytics platform provider RetailNext to deliver occupancy tracking on displays. With the integration, Raydiant's In-Location experience platform will now display occupancy levels from data collected from video analytics, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth devices, point-of-sale systems and more, according to a press release.
Both staff and customers can look at these displays to see which parts of the store is near or at full capacity. The system updates in a few seconds to ensure accuracy.
"This strategic partnership was born from the desire to better support our retail customers, both during and after COVID-19," Bobby Marhamat, CEO, Raydiant, said in the release. "We've seen the challenges that they face having to constantly track their occupancy level to ensure limited capacity percentages, and we wanted to offer a better solution — one that automated and simplified this process. Automatic data tracking through Raydiant and RetailNext gives them the space they need to be more productive, freeing up their staff to help more customers and offer that personalized service known to increase revenue and attract more customers."
