Quam Nichols, an AV hardware firm, has launched an updated model of its System 3 wall-mounted loudspeaker system for indoor educational spaces, according to a press release.

The speaker leverages an eight-inch O.D. loudspeaker and a 5W-25/70V transformer.

Features include updated aesthetics; a slanted, steel, open-back, rounded corner square enclosure; and all required installation hardware included in the box.

"With the launch of the redesigned SYSTEM 3, we continue to set the standard for excellence in the commercial loudspeaker industry, providing our customers with the ultimate combination of performance, reliability, and modern design."

The full system specs for the System 3 loudspeaker system include:

  • Average Sensitivity: 92dB SPL, 1W/1M.
  • Loudspeaker Power Rating: 12W RMS, EIA 426A Standard.
  • Maximum Output: 15W @ 8 Ohms.
  • Frequency Response: 65Hz - 17kHz EIA, 426A Standard.
  • Nominal Coverage Angle: 100° Included Angle, -6dB/2kHz, Half Space.
  • Audio Connection: 7", Color-coded, Pre-tinned Leads.
  • Finish: White powder coat.
