Planar, OptiTrack announce series of broadcast solutions

Planar, a visualization technology firm, and sister company OptiTrack, a 3D tracking systems company, have announced the launch of a series of broadcast technology solutions, including virtual production and extended reality use cases, according to a press release.
Product launches in the LED category included the Planar CarbonLight CLI VX Series, the Planar Venue Pro VX Series, the Planar TVF Series and the Planar DirectLight Ultra Series MicroLED line, while OptiTrack announced its CinePuck virtual production tracking tool.
"Planar and OptiTrack are continuously bringing the most innovative and cutting-edge display and mocap technologies to NAB and this year is no different," Adam Schmidt, EVP at Planar, said in the release. "This year, we have an array of new and improved products designed specifically for on-camera and in-camera environments — the most advanced offering for the market to date, backed by decades of on-camera broadcast industry leadership."
