Pixel pitch: Houston Astros intro digital signage canvas for season opener

The Houston Astros have added Samsung digital signage at Minute Maid Park in the runup to their season opener, according to a press release.

The project includes more than 50,000 square feet of dynamic signage space, along with a 1,000-square-foot LED screen in left field and mezzanine displays in the suite deck and center field.

"As the official display and technology partner of the Houston Astros, Samsung has been hard at work during the off-season to ensure Minute Maid Park is in peak condition for opening day and beyond," David Phelps, VP product management for the display division at Samsung Electronics America, said in the release. "Delivering end-to-end services from design, construction, installation and post-sales support ensures the displays come to life on game day."
