PBHS releases Silent Partner TV for dental patient education

November 29, 2016

PHBS Inc. has announced the Silent Partner TV tool for oral surgery and dental implant practices. The tool, which is set to release on Dec. 1, is designed to offer videos, digital signage and testimonials for the office's displays, according to a press release.

The Silent Partner is a small computer stick that provides information about treatment, missing teeth replacement and more. The Silent Partner can also stream from Youtube and social media sites. PHBS regularly updates the content remotely for the tools, according to the release.

"The goal is to take the digital assets that are visible to patients outside the office and make them visible inside the office - to ‘socialize’ the waiting room, if you will," Jay Levine, president of PBHS, said in the release. "Many of the people in the OMS waiting room are parents of third-molar patients – they may have needs of their own such as replacing missing teeth. Why not communicate directly to them while they are in the office with an engaging message about the life-changing benefits of dental implants? They are only a step away from the front desk where they can book their consultation."
