Connected-screen company Think&Go announced it is set to debut what it says is "the world's first multipayment connected screens" at CES 2016 in January in Las Vegas.

The company, which leverages NFC and BLE technologies to create connected screens, said its technology transforms digital signage screens into multimerchant point-of-sale terminals, opening up new sales and distribution channels on the streets and in train stations, airports, shopping malls and more. Consumers will be able to buy or reserve a product, directly on the screen, with a simple gesture in less than one second using their NFC mobile phones with ApplePay or any EMV contactless bank card, according to Think&Go.

The idea is to make screens interact with the connected objects that consumers already have in their pockets, creating new customer journeys for all shoppers. Each point on the screen can interact with contactless cards, smartphones or smartwatches to create a personalized experience for consumers in less than a second, the company said.

Think&Go will be launching for the first time in the U.S. at CES 2016 its latest development, a connected screen integrating EMV compatible payments. Users will be able to experience paying for products by just placing their EMV contactless bank cards or Apple Pay enabled iPhone 6 or Apple Watch on the screen.

The company also will be showcasing its technology at the NRG Big Show in January in New York City, in order to showcase to visitors from the retail sector the possibilities of a multipayment connected screen. Its screen will be installed on the Ingenico stand.
