Outdoor digital signage must be carefully managed, building associations say

Property Week (U.K.): Local authorities must have robust policies in place to manage the impact of large digital screens in public places or it could cause "significant harm to the character, appearance, amenity and even safety of places," according to CABE and English Heritage, both English organizations that advise on building, planning and specs. The two bodies have published a document to guide local authorities who are considering planning outdoor digital signage and billboard applications.
