The NFC Forum recently released a white paper entitled, "Bridging digital and physical retail with NFC." This paper looks at how near-field communication technology can boost customer experience, revenue and analytics, according to a press release.
The technology can help provide dynamic digital offers and product information on digital signage and other tools. The white paper explores various tips on how retailers can reach "connected consumers" with NFC.
"NFC allows brands and retailers to connect quickly, easily and reliably with consumers at every step of the customer journey — pre-purchase, in-store and post-purchase," Matthew Bright, chair, NFC Forum retail and payment SIG, said in the release.
