NEC unveils 55-inch 4K display

NEC Display Solutions of America recently announced its V554Q, a 55-inch 4K display, which features full external control and network capabilities through LAN and SpectraView Engine Technology for color control, according to a press release.

The device features 500 cd/m2 of brightness and 24/7 runtime. Other features include:

• IR and button lock.
• Full metal chassis and carrying handles.
• Scheduler functionality.
• Compatible with NEC's NaViSet Administrator 2 software for controlling, monitoring and managing multiple displays.

"The V554Q features the most sought-after features in digital signage at an attractive price point combined with a sleek, modern design," Ben Hardy, senior product manager, NEC, said in the release. "We've included commercial-grade features inside and out, such as full-metal chassis and integrated temperature sensors and cooling fans that lower the internal temperature without sacrificing screen quality."
