NEC taking digital signage to TEA

Commercial LCD display and projector solutions provider NEC Display Solutions of America has joined the Themed Entertainment Association, an international non-profit trade group representing creators, developers, designers and producers of compelling places and experiences.

Commercial LCD display and projector solutions provider NEC Display Solutions of America has joined the Themed Entertainment Association, an international non-profit trade group representing creators, developers, designers and producers of compelling places and experiences, according to an announcement from NEC Display.

TEA provides member organizations with channels and opportunities for networking, education and business growth. For its part, NEC Display's strategic focus on display technologies, solutions development and services for global companies will help TEA advance its objectives, according to the announcement.

NEC Display is at the forefront of development of ultra-HD displays, soli- state light source projectors and other visual technologies, according to the announcement.

"TEA has great relationships with organizations and technology suppliers that will be mutually beneficial," said Richard Ventura, vice president of business development and solutions at NEC Display. "NEC is all about helping people and organizations communicate, build relationships, inspire, impart knowledge and improve productivity. We're very excited about joining TEA."

TEA members play roles in entertainment and education projects at theme parks, water parks, museums, zoos, corporate visitor centers, casinos, restaurants, branded experiences, multimedia spectaculars, retail spaces, resorts and hospitality, destination attractions and others, according to the announcement.
