NEC Display Solutions of America is offering a five-year warranty on four of its P series LCD displays, which are used for digital signage in airports, restaurants, banks, command-and-control centers and more, according to a press release.
The warranty will cover the P404, P484, P554 and P703 models and is an improvement of the average three-year warranty for the industry, according to the release.
"We're passionate about the engineering and reliability of our new professional signage displays," Ben Hardy, product manager at NEC Display Solutions, said in the release. "We're always seeking new ways to provide the highest level of support for our customers, and the robust design and build of these models gives us the confidence to offer this five-year warranty."
