NEC, DST hosting webinar on LED backlighting

NEC Display Solutions and DigitalSignageToday.com will present the free webinar "The Emergence of LED Backlighting for Large-format Displays" Thursday, March 11, at 2 p.m. EST.

The webinar will look at the years-long development toward the migration to LED backlighting for large-format displays.

Starting with the emergence of the technology in TVs and tracing its migration to professional-grade displays used for digital signage, this webinar will take attendees through the evolution of the adoption of LED backlight technology, just as the market for the technology gets ready to erupt.

The webinar will examine several key issues surrounding LED backlighting, including the differences between edge-lit and direct-lit LED technologies; the features and benefits of each technology; and new applications and usage occasions.
