NanoLumens LED displays light up Chattanooga Convention Center stage

December 4, 2017

The Chattanooga Convention Center, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, recently deployed a 43-foot-wide by 5-foot-tall NanoLumens Nixel Series curved LED display at the north entrance. The 5 millimeter pixel pitch display is built to entertain and inform visitors as they enter the center, according to a press release.

Upon deployment, the center showcased GoPro adventure videos and other content. Soon, event organizers will be able to showcase their own content on the display.

"The U.S. convention center industry is highly competitive, with centers across the country constantly working to promote themselves as the best location and as having the best infrastructure for all types of events." Mike Shuford, executive director of the Chattanooga Convention Center, said in the release. "With the installation of this unique, vibrant curved NanoLumens display, Chattanooga has stepped up to the plate to help organizations of all sizes hit it out of the park at their next conference or event."

The LED display uses less electricity than a standard LCD display, in keeping with the center's commitment to using greener energy sources, according to the release.
